    We stopped off in Kathmandu and explored the city. We were absolutely fascinated by the melting pot of different religions, diverse people and incredibly friendly people selling their wares. We then took a small aeroplane to Lukla. Incidentally, this airport is one of the most dangerous in the world.

    From Lukla, at an altitude of 2,860 metres, you set off on a hike. We set off for Mount Everest Base Camp. Our route took us through beautiful Nepal for almost three weeks. In addition to the base camp at 5,364 metres, we also climbed Kala Patthar at 5,675 metres.

    Hiking at an altitude of over 3,000 metres quickly becomes exhausting. From 5,000 metres upwards, it becomes arduous. Nevertheless, if you follow everything you need to know at this altitude, the tour will be an experience.
