Manuals

Defensa, y Promoción de la Mujer Latina (Defense and Promotion of the Latin Woman)

Working with Latino Communities to Eliminate Domestic Violence Manual for professionals and community workers. (This manual exists only in Spanish). This manual was written as a guide with up-to-date basic information for all those who provide services to survivors; to provide survivors and their communities with basic information relevant to their rights; to provide an easy to understand guide to the different government systems and offices in the United States upon which the survival of Latin women (immigrant and non-immigrant) depends. The guide was also written to clarify doubts, confusion and myths about domestic violence; to provide some answers to the most common questions of survivors, community workers and service providers, in general; as well as to explain complicated legal issues in the simplest way possible to facilitate the work of advocates.
