Job Title: Latina Domestic Violence Project Coordinator
Reports To: Community Services Director
Hours: 40 hours per week
The Latina Project Coordinator manages culturally-specific services that facilitate safe options and stability for victims of domestic violence and their children: provides community education and public awareness addressing issues of domestic violence; and conducts systems advocacy on behalf of Latina victims. Enhancing collaboration among this community's Hispanic leadership, area law enforcement and the victim services community will be essential. Job responsibilities also include, but are not limited to, supervision of Latina Project staff, data collection, timely reporting for numerous grants, continued program development as well as oversight of a house for Latina families. Crisis intervention and strong cross-cultural communication skills are a must.
Qualifications include, at minimum, a Bachelor's Degree and/or five years of relevant experience and good computer skills.
